Government has with immediate effect transferred Executive Director of the Higher Education Students Loans and Grants Board, Prince Phwetekere, to Domasi College of Education, where he will serve as a lecturer.

A letter from the Office of the President and Cabinet (OPC) seen by us gives no reasons for the secondment but indicates that it may be cancelled at any time before the end of the agreed period if a need arises and upon agreement between the parties.

The move comes as the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) administration continues to reassign or second senior civil servants following its victory in the September 16 general elections.
