Two best friends have been hauled to court after attacking two young mums on a night out.

Ceri Chase, 29, and Chelsea Smith, 28, attacked the pair of sisters in the middle of the street.

During the attack, on September 13, of the victims was punched to the floor whilst her sister was branded a ‘rat’ and ‘tramp’ before being pulled to the ground.

The incident reportedly took place because one of the victim's partners had previously been in a relationship with a relative of Chase.

After the attack, she suffered bruising and a black eye while her sister had several swollen bumps to the face plus cuts. View 3 Images

When questioned, Smith, a cleaner, who has a nine year old son with special needs, said she was ''10 out of 10'' drunk and claimed she had been ''encouraged''
