MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) - Flight cancellations are hitting Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) as the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) orders commercial airlines to begin cutting their flight schedules.

Only 4% of domestic flights are being cut on Friday, Nov. 7, but the plan is for that number to jump to 6% by Tuesday before reaching the full 10% drop in air traffic by Friday, Nov. 14.

This comes as the federal government shutdown continues.
