EAST LANSING — When Amy Terrian stepped on the Breslin Center floor to make her college debut for the Michigan State women's basketball team in its record-setting rout of Mercyhurst on Tuesday, Nov. 4, it was a moment of gratitude.
The freshman guard and 2025 Ms. Basketball winner in Wisconsin was thankful for the opportunity to play in the Spartan program and for the teammates surrounding her, which includes her twin sister, Anna.
Reaching double figures in scoring with 15 points off the bench made the experience even more memorable for Terrian, who was 5-for-8 from 3-point range in her debut.
But perhaps the moment that stood out more than any basket made by the Pewaukee, Wis., native Tuesday was assisting on a 3-pointer that marked the first points of Anna's college career.
