FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WFRV) - Officers in Fond du Lac recovered two stolen vehicles early Friday morning and took two juveniles into custody after a brief pursuit and search efforts.

According to a release from the Fond du Lac Police Department, officers were called to the Comfort Inn on Holiday Lane just before 4 a.m. for a report of a stolen pickup truck.

Using Flock Safety cameras, officers then found a recent alert for the stolen vehicle near East Johnson Street and Highway 151. Officers immediately responded and found the truck westbound on East Johnson Street.

However, the truck fled after officers attempted a traffic stop. As the pursuit began, officers say a car that was ahead of the truck pulled over. It was later determined that the car had also been stolen overnight.
