A medical center on Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville is cutting some services due to the continued lapse in appropriations from the government shutdown.
Beginning Friday, Fox Army Health Center will curtail Primary Care Medical Home services and prioritize Active Duty primary care, according to a notice posted on the official Team Redstone Facebook page.
Due to the staffing shortfall, radiology services will temporarily stop. All radiology, including urgent/STAT, will be diverted to the TRICARE network. Team Redstone says Prime Service Area capacity is assessed as sufficient in the short-term.
Additionally, effective Nov. 13, pharmacy operations will be curtailed to three days a week - Monday through Wednesday, and the pharmacy script center will continue to operate all 5 working days.
