LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. — Deputies are now looking in other areas after the search for a person of interest in a Friday shooting led to increased security measures at area schools.
The Lexington County Sheriff's Department said it is looking for 32-year-old Jacob Hill, who it described as a person of interest in a shooting on Hartley Quarter Road, which is just south of Pelion. Additional details regarding the shooting and a possible victim were not readily available at the time.
Authorities stated that Hill is a white male, approximately six feet tall and weighing 155 pounds. He reportedly has tattoos on his left arm, a shaved head and a light beard. The sheriff's department said he was last seen wearing a white shirt and black pants.
