A toy shop on Bristol's iconic independent shopping road is closing its doors after 23 years of service. The Playfull Toyshop on Gloucester Road has announced it will be closing at the end of the year after more than two decades, as the shop's owners head into retirement.
In a Facebook post bidding people 'farewell', owners Kerstin and Nigel Price wrote: "Yes, it’s time to bid a fond farewell from all of us at Playfull Toyshop to all of you, our loyal customers and supporters.
"Our final day of trading will be on New Year’s Eve. By that time we are expecting the shelves to be almost empty. Please carry on shopping at all great independent shops wherever they may be! Your local High Street really needs
