PITTSFIELD, Mass. (NEWS10) -- A 19-year-old man was arrested in connection with the shooting in Pittsfield that happened on October 26, killing Brodie Slonski. Jaequan Spratling was charged with murder and attempted armed robbery.
The Berkshire County District Attorney's Office said Pittsfield Police had responded to Parker Street for reports of a single-vehicle crash and found the victim unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the chest on October 26. The victim was taken to Berkshire Medical Center for treatment, where he was later declared dead.
Spratling was arrested on Thursday evening and is expected to be arraigned at 2 p.m. on Friday. The investigation remains ongoing.
