Shore Acres State Park is now offering reservations to its 2025 holiday lights display near Coos Bay.

Each year, Shore Acres State Park creates a seasonal display of thousands of shimmering lights and festive decorations that can be viewed from Nov. 27 - Dec. 31.

For more than 30 years, the display has attracted thousands of people who come to see it, often causing long wait times. The park has been offering visitors the chance to reserve their parking spots since 2022.

“The event had become so popular in previous years that vehicles were waiting hours on the road, and traffic was backing up the highway. Vehicles are no longer waiting in long lines on the road to enter the event,” said park manager Lee Ricci.
