The 2026 Grammy nominations are out the morning of November 7, starting the countdown to the February 1 ceremony. Kendrick Lamar leads the pack with nine nominations, including Album of the Year for 2024’s GNX , where he’ll face Bad Bunny, Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber, Clipse, Lady Gaga, Tyler the Creator, and Leon Thomas.

This year, there are two new categories to look out for: Best Album Cover and Best Traditional Country Album. The latter, added in the wake of Beyoncé’s Best Country Album win for Cowboy Carter , will honor work by traditional country artists that does not fall into the “Americana” category.
