The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) has suspended three sevayats (temple servitors) for actions that violated the discipline and sanctity of the Srimandir, officials confirmed on Friday.

According to an official statement, Suara Badu Sevayat Narayan Panda and Khuntia Sevayat Rajaram Khuntia have been suspended for two months under Section 21(A) of the Shri Jagannath Temple Act, 1955. The suspension comes after reports of illegal money collection from pilgrims near Bahar Katha and physical altercations among the sevayats over the collected funds, which disrupted order within the temple premises.
