A special edition holiday cup has caused a frenzy among Starbucks lovers, leading some fans to pay $500 for the glass. Demand was so high that police were called to one location after customers began fighting and refused to leave the store.

On Thursday, the coffee giant released a series of holiday items which includes a 20-ounce glass cup in the shape of a bear. Known as the ‘bearista’ glass, the cup retailed for $29.95 and was available at Starbucks locations nationwide.

However, it appears only a limited number of cups were sent to each store as fans reported being unable to secure a glass, even after arriving at the store when it opened. Customers took to social media to complain about the limited availability.
