An Edinburgh pedestrian is believed to have been 'hit by a tram' on Friday afternoon before a huge emergency services response raced to the scene.
Police , fire crews and paramedics were called to Constitution Street at around 1.30pm on November 7. Trams were unable to serve the street as emergency serviced attended.
Unconfirmed local reports suggest the individual was 'trapped under the tram'. Their condition is not yet known.
An air ambulance was seen landing in Leith Links at around 2.30pm, before heading to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and landing just before 3pm.
Police have confirmed the incident was related to 'concern for a person'. Edinburgh Trams have added their services were on a part route due to a 'medical incident'.
