The Rodney Community Library was its usual warm and welcoming self on Thursday, Nov. 6, buzzing with creativity and colour as local children gathered for the first of four Rodney Library Art Workshops. The weekly sessions, held Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. throughout November, are led by local artist and library employee Christine Johnston.
Organized by Johnston and the Elgin County Library team, including West Lorne and Dutton branches under the co-ordination of Janet Given, the workshops offer young people a chance to explore, learn, play and create in a supportive space filled with imagination. Whether reading, crafting or simply spending time with family and friends, the library continues to be a hub of community life and creativity.
