New Delhi: Coal India Limited, India's Largest coal-producing PSU, announced a strategic 50:50 Joint Venture with Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) to develop a brownfield thermal power project at Chandrapura, Jharkhand.
The Chandrapura Thermal Power Project will add 1,600 MW of supercritical capacity (2×800 MW units), strengthening India’s baseload generation and supporting the Nation’s energy transition goals.
