Weapon, ammo, drugs seized during traffic stop

Police seized a weapon, ammunition and drugs during a traffic stop in Peterborough on Thursday night.

Peterborough police say around 10:30 p.m., officers on duty noticed a car travelling at a high rate of speed in the Lansdowne Street area. Police add officers located the vehicle a short time later in the area of Townsend Street and Aylmer Street and initiated a traffic stop.
