ORCHARD PARK - Every team in the NFL deals with injuries, but the Buffalo Bills ’ defense has faced an uncommon amount of medical difficulty this season, and it’s happening again as they head down to Miami for an AFC East battle Sunday against the Dolphins .
Coach Sean McDermott said Friday that edge rusher AJ Epenesa and linebacker Shaq Thompson will not be able to play, and four other players - defensive tackle DaQuan Jones, wide receiver Joshua Palmer, and cornerbacks Taron Johnson and Christian Benford will be limited in practice Friday and will be listed as questionable for the game.
If Benford, who suffered a groin injury in practice Friday, can’t play which certainly seems like a possibility, he would become the eighth member of the starting lineup to miss time. The others are
