Baramulla DC, directed departments to install CCTV cameras at all identified hotspots. He told the Education Department to monitor CCTV systems in schools and colleges to stop illegal activity.

He also instructed the ARTO to suspend driving licences of anyone found involved in drug peddling or consumption under the law.

Officials from Police, Health, Education, Excise, Social Welfare and other departments shared data on ongoing action. They agreed to tighten coordination to check trafficking and abuse in the district.
