Let's start with this: This is hardly the first time Michelle Beadle has spoken out about Stephen A. Smith, her former colleague from her ESPN days.
There was a back-and-forth in 2014 and that led to an eventual apology from Smith. Back in June, Beadle and co-host Cody Decker reacted to Smith taking over their timeslot on Mad Dog Sports Radio.
And now, there's Beadle speaking this week about Smith, as some of his current colleagues endorsed a Solitaire app that Smith also pushed online.
“Honestly, I’m not a religious person, but I pray for the downfall,” she said, per Awful Announcing. "It’s gross, man, you gotta have principles in this thing."
“ESPN pays him a gazillion dollars to get a lot of stuff wrong and yell. He gets caught playing solitaire during the NBA freaking Finals. You created this monster. He is bigger than you now, and that’s exactly your fault. You let him run rampant all over that company."
Whew. We'll see if Smith has a rebuttal at some point.
