QUINCY (WGEM) - With the ongoing government shutdown, concerns have grown for those who rely on government funded programs to help pay their energy bills.

As of right now, officials at the Two Rivers Regional Council of Public Officials in Quincy said the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) still has funds available for those in the area.

However, they also shared some other ways to keep energy bills low, in case LIHEAP becomes unavailable.
