The brightest minds in the UK got to sample the delights of Stirling at a recent gathering organised by the world-famous Mensa group. ‌

The international society brings together high IQ indviduals from across the world - with membership contingent on scoring within the top two per cent of the general population in an intelligence test. ‌

More than 200 members of the UK Mensa society took part in their annual gathering in the city between October 16 and 20 as members enjoyed a packed itinerary of activities and events across Stirling. ‌

Organisers told the Observer that the gathering was a “great success” and hailed the warm backing and welcome of local businesses who hosted some of the events programme across the four days.
