PETOSKEY — The Grain Train Natural Foods Market has launched its “Thanks and Giving” campaign to help address food insecurity across Northern Michigan amid ongoing reductions in SNAP benefits.
According to a Nov. 7 news release from the market, throughout November customers can add a cash donation to their grocery purchase to benefit the Manna Food Project.
The organization serves more than 40 food pantries and meal sites across Antrim, Charlevoix, and Emmet counties. The Grain Train will match all customer donations up to $5,000 through the end of the month.
