EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — Authorities have released the identity of an Evansville man killed in a hit-and-run as police continue to search for a suspect.

Evansville Police said they found the victim in the area of Jeanette Avenue and Fickas Road on Wednesday night and determined he was hit by a vehicle. He was taken to the hospital in Indianapolis, but passed away on Thursday from his injuries.

The Marion County Coroner has now identified the victim as 42-year-old Aaron Fenwick of Evansville.

No arrests have been made in the case at this time, as EPD is still searching for a suspect.
