SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — Concho Valley PAWS is seeking assistance in supporting a local rescue organization after the health of the rescue's founder led to a "temporary pause" in operations.

In a statement published on Nov. 6, CVPAWS said that the "current health condition" of Hearts and Paws Rescue's founder, Cynthia Saucedo, "necessitates a temporary pause."

CVPAWS stated that Saucedo founded the rescue in 2023 and has "facilitated the rescue and placement of hundreds of homeless dogs," but "significant health challenges" that she has faced this year, which culminated in a Lupus diagnosis in September, have hindered her.
