A section of Loop 101 in Scottsdale will be closed this weekend for freeway work while drivers along portions of Loop 202 in the Chandler/Ahwatukee area will face delays and detours for pavement sealing, state transportation officials said Thursday.
Here is the Arizona Department of Transportation’s plans for Friday night, Nov. 7, until Monday morning, Nov. 10:
Southbound Loop 101 will be closed between Hayden Road and Shea Boulevard in Scottsdale from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for a widening project.
The eastbound Loop 101 on-ramp at Scottsdale Road will be closed. Detour: Consider using southbound State Route 51 to eastbound Shea Boulevard. Drivers also can exit to southbound Scottsdale Road to reach eastbound Shea Boulevard.
