The MLA for Dawson Trail is calling on the Justice Minister to take action after a threatening Halloween scene was publicly displayed in the Rural Municipality of Tache.

"I am incredibly shocked and concerned by the inappropriate display that was set up to intimidate and threaten municipal officials in the RM of Tache," says Bob Lagasse. "These hateful representations are unacceptable and have no place in our community."

The display was erected in Ste. Genevieve. It included five nearly life-sized figures hanging from a noose in a person's yard, with the word 'ward' and different numbers next to it written on four of the figures' legs. A sign above the figures read 'Politics All Tricks No Treats.'
