HANNIBAL (WGEM) - Hannibal voters opted to approve a sales tax that will support the city’s emergency services.
The 0.5% sales will be deposited into a trust that will be kept separate from the city’s other funds.
City officials said the money will help compensate for the salary raises police and firefighters received over the last several months.
