Matt Green was hoping to get home to Chicago in time for the Friday night fish fry at his local VFW post.

But Delta Airlines rescheduled his flight out of Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport on Nov. 7 in response to the federal government's mandated flight reductions.

"I won't get back in time," said Green, who had been in Spartanburg for several days on business. "I'm a little perturbed."
