KANSAS CITY, Mo - The Missouri Public Service Commission has set an intervention deadline of November 25th for two requests filed by Spire Missouri Inc. related to a proposed renewable natural gas plant in Kansas City.
Spire filed an application on November 5th for a certificate of convenience and necessity to construct, install, own, operate, and maintain the natural gas plant. The project will consist of the construction of a biogas upgrading facility, a meter and regulation interconnect, and a transmission pipeline to Spire's distribution system.
Spire also filed an application to recover the costs of the facility through a Renewable Natural Gas Rate Adjustment Mechanism.
Applications to intervene and participate in these cases must be filed with the Secretary of the Missouri Public
