PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) -- Hy-Vee stores will be extending their $3 meals and free kids' meals to help local families.

Until Friday, Nov. 14, all stores with hot food service will continue to provide meals to families, said Zach Tecklenburg, a Hy-Vee spokesman.

This will include a breakfast buffet on Saturday, Nov. 8 and Sunday, Nov. 9.

Tecklenburg said the following menu will be offered from 4 to 7 p.m. through Nov. 14: • Friday, Nov. 7: Sesame or orange chicken rice bowl In locations without HyChi, the meal will be two chicken tenders, mashed potatoes and corn • In locations without HyChi, the meal will be two chicken tenders, mashed potatoes and corn • Saturday, Nov. 8 and Sunday, Nov. 9: Breakfast buffet featuring scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage links, a piece of fruit and donut ho
