Cops are seeking a man who robbed a teen at gunpoint, after the victim simply asked for directions.
The 17-year-old male victim approached the suspect on the Manhattan bound E train platform in the Kew Gardens-Union Turnpike station at around 7:30 p.m. Oct. 29, police said. The perp demanded money when the teen asked for help. When he refused, the man displayed a gun in his waistband, telling the victim to go get money from the bank.
The teen withdrew funds from the Chase Bank at 118-30 Queens Blvd. The perp then took $140 from him and fled northbound on Queens Boulevard to parts unknown.
Police said the man sought has a dark complexion and was last seen wearing a green jacket, green hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black sneakers, with a black backpack.
