Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov 07: Shri. Subajit Basu, Special Judge (POCSO) Act 2012, N & M Andaman District, Mayabunder has sentenced accused Sanjeeb Das, R/o Madhupur, under Diglipur police Station on 07/11/2025 for committing rape on a minor girl of 17 year old in connection with the Crime No. 64 of 2023, dated 15/7/2023of Police Station Diglipur. In open court Hon’ble Special Judge (POCSO), Mayabunder sentenced U/s 235(2) of Cr. P.C. to suffer rigorous imprisonment for 20 years with the fine of Rs.60,000/- and in default of payment of fine amount to undergo simple imprisonment for term of $06$ months for the offence punishable section of 6 of POCSO Act 2012.
