SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — A man described as Scottsdale's "second most-wanted fugitive" has been arrested in another country, years after he reportedly fled Arizona.

Michael Wiseman was taken into custody in France on Nov. 1 after he allegedly violated his probation for offenses dating back to 2008 in Scottsdale.

The Scottsdale Police Department said Wiseman was initially arrested for charges of sexual exploitation of a minor. While under court-ordered monitoring, Wiseman allegedly cut off his ankle monitor and fled the country. He was found in Spain the following year and brought back to Arizona.

Wiseman eventually entered in a plea agreement and was sentenced in 2012.
