The 2025 Poppy Campaign may be a few days away from wrapping up, but there is still time to donate locally and show your support.

At the start of the campaign, which kicked off on Oct. 31, 50,000 poppies were provided to 700 local businesses, all delivered throughout the city by 30 volunteers.

Since then, it’s been nonstop, according to David Price, the Legion 560 Poppy Campaign co-chair.

“Every day, we get phone calls from the businesses when they run out of poppies. Every day, we deliver about half a dozen to a dozen businesses that top up,” said Price, who added the poppies aren’t for sale, they are simply asking for a donation.
