The next phase in building the new Brockville Correctional Centre and expanded St. Lawrence Valley Correctional and Treatment Centre is about to begin with the demolition of 10 buildings on the site.

The new and expanded facilities will be built at the former Brockville Psychiatric Hospital building, and the current home to the correctional and treatment centre and Secure Treatment Unit, as well as the Brockville Mental Health Centre, and Forensic Treatment Unit.
