Pulaski County Stadium, affectionately referred to as the "Lagoon," was rocking on Thursday night as the East Jessamine Jaguars came to town to open the Class 5A state playoffs. That rocking soon turned to 'B'rocking as after an opening kickoff return by Kasen Brock, the Maroons never looked back in a 48-14 victory.
Just 12 seconds, that's how long it took Pulaski to score in the contest as Brock received the kickoff and returned it 81 yards for the touchdown, and after an extra point kick was good by Bryson Mounce the Maroons had a sudden 7-0 lead. Pulaski's defense held strong and quickly forced a Jaguar punt, and with 8:56 left in the game, a 27-yard rush by Brock resulted in a 14-0 lead for the good guys.
