PASCO COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — The Pasco County Sheriff's Office said it seized the equivalent of 85,000 lethal doses of fentanyl in less than a week.
The drugs came from two different homes where deputies executed search warrants, the first of which took place on Oct. 29 and the second on Nov. 4.
In addition to stolen property and other illegal drugs, the sheriff's office said it seized 138.5 grams of fentanyl from the home on Precision Street. PSO cited the DEA's advisory that just two milligrams of fentanyl can be lethal, meaning the drugs found in the home were equivalent to around 69,000 lethal doses.
The second search warrant was executed just a few days later at a home on Gray Fox Lane in New Port Richey. From tha
