A nostalgic hamburger and hot-dog joint is making a comeback just a month after closing shop at Easton Public Market .

Rod’s Dogs in late September announced on the business’ Facebook page that it would be vacating the market, 325 Northampton St. The eatery initially opened in October 2021 at the market.

The reason behind the closure was Rod’s general manager, Felix Grzymala, was leaving to take a job at Charlie’s Pool Room in Alpha . Married co-owners Mike and Rebecca Pichetto of Nazareth had no hard feelings and wished Grzymala well on social media.

Rod’s on Thursday posted on the “Everything Easton” Facebook page they would be reopening at the market after the Pichettos found someone willing to take the reins in operations.
