TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (ABC4) — There is a secure protocol for multiple schools in the Granite School District at the direction of law enforcement.
The Granite School District shared that Taylorsville High, Plymouth Elementary, and Hartvigsen School are in Secure Protocol.
Eisenhower Jr. High, Fremont Elementary, and Vista Elementary have been released from Secure Protocol.
There is a heavy police presence one block south of Taylorsville High School.
The school district shared that "this was done out of an abundance of caution at the direction of law enforcement. To be clear, there is no direct threat to our students or schools. Schools are proceeding as usual inside the buildings and students ar
