Toronto police are asking for the public’s help to locate a 74-year-old woman who has been missing since Thursday evening.
The woman, who police are calling Lynn, was reportedly spotted downtown on CCTV footage this morning near King Street W. and Shawn Street, said Toronto police Const. Stephanie Miceli on Friday.
That’s about 20 kilometres away from where she was last seen when she was initially reported missing in Scarborough, near Victoria Park Avenue and Cassandra Boulevard on Thursday, according to police.
“It's important that we find Lynn as quickly as possible,” Miceli told reporters on Friday afternoon. “Her family is very concerned for her.”
Miceli said Lynn has “cognitive impairments” which increases the urgency of the search, along with the cold weather. She said the woman
