SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - Moshe Kruger, the executive director of the Jewish Federation of St. Joseph Valley, has passed away.

Kruger died suddenly earlier this week. He was 69 years old.

Kruger devoted a lot of his life here in our area to teaching collective responsibility and moving the community forward, even during the most uncertain of times.

He was also very outspoken when it came to the power of Jewish unity and values.

WNDU 16 News Now is thinking of his wife, Karen, and their family as well.

A memorial service honoring his life and legacy will be held Monday, Nov. 10, at 2 p.m. at Sinai Synagogue in South Bend. For more information, you’re asked to send the Jewish Federation of St. Joseph Valley a private message on Facebook .
