LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Several flights were cancelled Friday at Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport (SDF) after an order from the Federal Aviation Administration.

Louisville Airport Spokesperson Natalie Chaudoin said 10 total flights were cancelled, most of which were to large airports with multiple other flights scheduled.

“The Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport (SDF) is included on the FAA’s list of 40 airports to experience reduced flight capacity beginning today, Friday, November 7," Chaudoin said. "At this time, there have been a total of 10 passenger flights canceled for today, with the majority being to large hub airports with multiple daily offers to and from Louisville. These cancellations represent 6.5% of the day’s total passenger flights."
