With less than three months to go until the puck drops at the Olympic Winter Games, a.k.a. Milano-Cortina 2026, Team Canada’s uniforms were unveiled.
Hockey Canada shared the latest jerseys, which come in two versions — the traditional white and red as well as a modern red-and-black jersey.
“Every stitch reflects our resilience, pride and belonging, forged through time and pressure,” Hockey Canada wrote in a social media post captioning closeups of the gear being described as “a symbol forged in ice.”
The maple leaf crests — red on the white tops, black on the red — are intended to resemble an “unbreakable diamond,” Hockey Canada said , “mirroring the unassailable nature” of the gem and “its ability to withstand immense pressure.”
