WASHINGTON STATE - The Trump administration is seeking to block a judge's order requiring the distribution of full monthly SNAP benefits for November as the government shutdown continues. Several states are already taking steps to comply with the order.

Governor Bob Ferguson announced that Washington State plans to distribute benefits as soon as funds become available.

Today, Wisconsin reported that some SNAP recipients have already received their full benefits for November overnight.

The administration is asking a federal appeals court to suspend court orders mandating full payments, citing a lack of available funds in the contingency fund. The administration wants to continue with partial payments instead.
