Srinagar, Nov 07: Chairperson of Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board and Minister of State, Dr Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, chaired the review meeting of the UMEED (Unified Waqf Management, Empowerment, Efficiency, and Development) Portal, organised by the Ministry of Minority Affairs for Jammu Division. The meeting was attended by Special Officer Waqf J&K, along with Administrative and Executive Officers of Jammu Division.

In her address, Dr Andrabi, who was warmly welcomed upon her arrival in Jammu, said the centralized digital platform for real-time uploading, verification, and monitoring of Waqf properties is a significant step toward ensuring transparency in the management of Waqf assets across the country.
