BIG COUNTRY, TEXAS (KTAB/KRBC) - Heading into this weekend, we’re expecting early summer and winter all within two days of each other, and that pretty much sums up Texas weather.

For Saturday, we’re expecting an arctic front to make its appearance in town as early as 2 p.m., but it’s not enough to keep our temperatures down for the day as we’re expecting a high of 84 degrees. Winds will be breezy as the front moves in, with gusts up to 25 mph. Heading into the overnight hours, we’ll see temperatures drop slightly, but this will not be our coldest evening of the weekend.

For Sunday, after the cooler air rushes in, temperatures will struggle to climb as north winds continue to gust up to 30 mph throughout the day. Temperatures will peak around 59 degrees.
