Prince Harry said he had a few reasons for sporting a Dodgers hat while attending Game 4 of the World Series between Los Angeles and the Toronto Blue Jays, calling the matter “hat-gate.”

During an appearance on CTV News on Thursday , the Duke of Sussex, who is in succession for the throne, apologized for wearing the cap, as many noted that he remains connected to Canada’s monarchy.

“Firstly, I would like to apologize to Canada for wearing it. Secondly, I was under duress,” Harry, who attended the Fall Classic with his wife, Meghan Markle, said.
