A judge has ruled in Denise Richards ’ favor following a long court battle with Aaron Phypers .

On Friday, Nov. 7, the actress, 54, was granted a five-year restraining order against her ex, 53. It is set to expire on Nov. 7, 2030, PEOPLE can confirm. The court decision comes amid claims that Phypers, who filed for divorce after six years of marriage in July, was physically abusive throughout their relationship.
