Four year old female cheetah, Domino, has come to live at Edinburgh Zoo.

The animal was previously resident at the Zoo de Cerza in France.

Keepers will soon start to introduce Domino to the zoo’s male cheetah, Billy. They will live separately at first and gradually be introduced over the coming weeks and the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland (RZSS) hope they will one day have cubs.

Visitors will be able to get a glimpse of the new arrival from Monday 10 November as she is given time to settle into her new surroundings.
